So I love food. I mean I REALLY LOVE FOOD. I love cooking for Adam and I love eating, at home, at restaurants, under bridges, in a box, in a shoe, at a zoo, I love food.
Unfortunately for my waistline, and my rapidly closing twenties, I do not like exercising, and the same old thing just isn’t working the same old way. When I was 19 I could eat whatever I wanted and never gain a pound, but alas my youth is behind me.
I am now going to publically confess that since I got married in December 2010 I’ve gained 20 pounds. Gasp! I weigh more than I ever have in my life. This has got to end. So I’m going to lose it. Not all of it. But 16 pounds. I was a bit skinny when we got married anyway so I’m giving myself a break. In fact we were both skinny as you can see here in our wedding pictures. Adam is in on this whole weight loss thing too.
So here’s the plan.
I’m going to exercise at least 30 minutes a day.
I’m dropping my calories to 1500 per day.
And I need to burn 500+ more calories a day than I eat.
I can do this! I’ll keep you posted, and I hope you’ll root me on!
